HOW TO MAKE MONEY FROM YOUTUBE WITHOUT MAKING VIDEOS

If you love the process of making videos on Youtube and want to be in this game but at the same time you don’t want to be in front of the camera and you just love the creative work that happens behind the scenes then the jobs I’m going to talk about are just for you.
– Most content creators (Youtuber) love making videos and being in front of the camera but they don’t necessarily love doing the work behind the scenes that’s why they outsource those tasks. And to be honest content creators, especially the big ones don’t have the time to do that work themselves even if they love doing it. That’s why they search for help.
– So, if you want to be involved in the content creation world but without being in videos or making videos of your own then keep reading this article because there are some exciting and creative jobs for you to do behind the scenes to help create a video on Youtube.

1- WRITING SCRIPTS FOR YOUTUBE VIDEOS:

If you love writing and are naturally good at it, you can write scripts for content creators as a side hustle or you can turn it into your full-time job. Now, Some content creators follow a script when filming their videos. But not all of them have the time to write the script and do the research themselves. And maybe they want to take their business to the next level that’s why they ask someone professional to write their scripts. Now, as a scriptwriter you need to be good at writing, writing engaging content or a script that can grab the viewer’s attention, you need to use a marketing tone when writing the script, you need to do research, and you need to understand and write in the voice of the content creator. And of course, you need to be a creative cause that’s what Youtube is all about.

2- VIDEO EDITING:

I know a lot of content creators enjoy editing their videos. It’s kind of fun but again not for everyone. So, if you love adjusting photos and videos and editing in general and are good at it, then you can edit videos as a side hustle or maybe even as a full-time job. You don’t need a degree to be an editor. You can do just fine by taking a short course, and you can learn from doing it. The more you do it, the more you get better at it. I think the most challenging thing for content creators when it comes to editing is that it takes time that’s why they don’t do it themselves. And obviously, the video I edit as a content creator who knows a little about editing is going to be different from the one that’s made by a professional. It’ll look more professional to the viewer. This job is in high demand. So, if you love visuals, images, and playing around with videos, you will enjoy this job. Editing videos is like art. All you have to do is to add your creative spirit to it.

3- REPURPOSE YOUTUBE VIDEOS FOR OTHER PLATFORMS:

Repurposing Youtube videos means reusing long Youtube videos on other platforms. It means taking some clips from the original video and editing them in a way that is convenient with each social media platform and publishing them there. So your job is to take an already made Youtube video and make a tick tok, Instagram reel, or Youtube short out of it. You are also responsible for writing captions and hashtags. And the reason why content creators outsource this task to someone else is that it takes time. And let’s not forget that the algorithm and the style for each platform are different and need someone who understands how each platform works.
The skill you need is understanding each platform style and algorithm. And being good at editing.

4- CREATING THUMBNAILS:

For content creators thumbnails are so important. They’re the reason why people click on the video in the first place. So you can be the one who creates the thumbnail that can generate more views. Normally content creators send you a few photo options, and your job is to choose the right one and then adjust the colors and add some shaps and texts to create a thumbnail that grabs people’s attention. That’s all you have to do. But sure you need to closely observe which thumbnails are doing good on Youtube and getting more clicks and study them to be able to understand how this works. It’s an easy job to do but crucial at the same time. And because it doesn’t take time like video editing or writing scripts you can work for a few content creators at the same time. It’s a great job to do as a side hustle. You can consider it as a hobby and you can earn money from it at the same time.

5- FILMING:

As a cameraman, you can work constantly with the content creator and film all of their videos, or they might need you only when they have an event or for some types of videos that necessarily need a cameraman. All the previous jobs we mentioned before can be done remotely. But obviously, as a cameraman, you need to search for content creators who live in your city or country to work with them. Now, for this job you already need to be a good cameraman and know how to use a camera and shoot professional videos. And if you’re not already then you can take a course to learn how to film good videos. In addition to shooting Youtube videos, you might also shoot Instagram reels and, tictok videos, or just take photos. This job is flourishing these days. It’s in high demand.

6- UPLOADING VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE:

You might be wondering, is that even a job? well, let me tell you a little bit about this job. Posting videos can take some time because there is a lot to do to get the video ready to upload. It’s not just pressing the uploading button. There are specific links, hashtags, codes, and a short script to describe the video to add in the description box depending on the type of video and if it has sponsors or ads. You need to think of the title of the video by doing some SEO search. Add cards and end screens. It is a whole process going on before pressing the publish button. The skills you need to have is an understanding of the Youtube algorithm, knowing how to do SEO search to be able to come up with the perfect title for the video to get more clicks, and also writing a good short video description to put in the description box.  But in the end, it is not a hard job to do. So, as a side hustle job, it’s considered pretty good.

– So, those were the tasks that you would do if you were a content creator. But you still can do them and help content creators get that work done if you love the process of making videos on youtube but without showing your face and making your own videos.

-Those jobs are also perfect for you if are a student and need to work at the same time.
